A RevolutionAfter looking at a lot of the recent announcements, and the big hot topic issue yesterday, I really think this whole news issue needs to be addressed.
lolly stated in his News Article that, it is up to us, the community, to give deviantART its reputation. Think of all the news members coming in, outside sources, and professional artists. If they see all of this shameless self promotion and other crap, they would not want to be a member of this art site. We do not want them to get the wrong opinion
What can we, the community, do?
We can flush out all of those crappy articles with good ones. We need to write articles that have a meaning, that showcase talent, actual news. Unless this issue gets fixed with moderators, we need to start the news revoultion. All deviant's can participate in this, all you have to do is write an news article that could actually be classified as news, not something you woulA Revolution by ~ssecret

dA News SystemWhat happened?
The deviantART News system in version 5 has been revised from the bottom-up. The old code has been removed and rewritten from scratch to include all the new features we were planning for. As most of you, v4 users, can see, it is in many ways different from the old system. We hope that you enjoy using the news system to find "what's up on art" as well as to submit your own news articles as much as we did developing it.
Decentralized
In v5 News, there's no news administration. Well, not in the same sense as v4, anyway. Any logged-in deviant can post news articles, which do no longer need to be reviewed by administrators before being posted. Just click on "Submit News", paste your article in, write a summary, fill-in the title and that's it. You can preview your news submission before publishing it, to make sure there are no mistakes (you won't be able to edit your article later). Things have changed, and I've changed a few things as well. The first and foremost being my username; I decided to shed my old name that I had since high school.

I haven't been doing much art lately; I simply haven't had the time or inspiration. Instead I've been doing more crafty things, or working on my blog.

Life is...life. It's not what I want it to be. I'm trying to change, but I don't know if I can.
